I’m joining the Riley Blake Designs family!

When I first started rediscovering art (post-college/3 kids/and few different jobs) it was partially my love of beautiful fabric that led me to learn how to create patterns. I was obsessed with sewing and I had a dream of designing my own fabric collection. Fast forward a number of years and I’m so happy to share that I’m joining the Riley Blake Designs family as a fabric designer!

My first collection, Midsummer Meadow, will be shipping to stores in July and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with the world. I was working on this project last summer, so it’s been hard to be patient (not one of my strong suits). If this were any other year, Quilt Market would have been held in mid-May and I likely would have been there to introduce my new collection. Alas, that did not happen, BUT Riley Blake is currently having a Virtual Quilt Market on Facebook and today they’re featuring a blog post to introduce me and Midsummer Meadow. Unfortunately I don’t have fabric yet to share, but hopefully these images will give you a good idea of what’s to come.

A sampler of Midsummer Meadow. The collection will be available in 3 coordinating colorways. View the entire collection here.

Midsummer Meadow is a celebration of summertime: butterflies and gardens in full bloom. I can’t wait to share more about the collection with you and to see what you make with it!
